My name is Angela Herrick. I am a Cosmetic Tattoo Artist and the proud owner of Hatch & Hue. My style of artistry is conservative and restorative micropigmentation aimed for soft healed results. I feel cosmetic tattooing should age and fade softly, leaving room for touch-ups according to our needs as we age.
As women, we are always pouring into others while putting ourselves last. My passion is working with mature-skinned clients who are finally pursuing much-deserved self-care. As human beings, we are all self-conscious about something. Cosmetic tattooing can help restore confidence and give time back to your daily routine. This career path was never about vanity, beauty, or makeup for me. It is about healing myself by helping heal others in whatever way I can.
My journey to get here was one with many tears and a fierce desire for my own healing and personal growth. I pride myself on my down-to-earth approach as if sharing a few hours with an old friend. After fourteen years of being a stay-at-home mom and a childcare provider, I was pouring from an empty cup. Cosmetic tattooing lit a fire inside of what I like to call myself:
a late-life bloomer.
I feel blessed and honored to share this rewarding craft with my quiet corner home.
Credentials
Angela trained in 3 styles of Permanent Cosmetics at the Micropigmentation Academy in Weathersfield, CT, and went on to complete a 2000 hr hands-on apprenticeship with Sarah Nicole Studios in Manchester CT to acquire her CT state license. Angela maintains regular training and certifications in blood-borne pathogens and first aid to provide the safest environment for her clients. Angela prides herself on her ongoing education, always striving to give her clients the best experience possible.

Powder Brows
A semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that gives eyebrows a soft, filled-in look. Perfect for most skin types, such as mature skin and those that have lost brow hair or want to restore the shape, color, and fullness. Heals to a soft-like powder effect. All eyebrows are customizable keeping clients' goals in mind,
Lip Blush
A semi-permanent tattoo that adds color and definition to lips. It can be done as a soft and natural look or a lipstick effect, depending on the client's goals, and will last up to five years.
Lash Enhancement Liner
Eyeliner tattoo done in the lash growth area that heals to look like a soft fuller lash line without the dramatic traditional eyeliner look.
Female Scalp Density SMP
Semi-permanent micropigmentation which creates the illusion of a fuller more dense area of hair hiding bald and thinning spots to female pattern baldness. ** Consultation required.

OUR POLICY
Deposits hold a specific date for a service and are applied towards service. Balances are due day of service and we accept cash or cards. Please note we have a 48-hour cancellation policy and you can reschedule once using the original deposit. 'No Shows' forfeit your deposit. Clients that are later than 15mins. past their scheduled appointment time, forfeit their deposit, and need to place a new deposit for a future date/time. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash & only apply towards in-house services and are good for 1 year from date of purchase.
